WOMEN

                     WOMEN

Woman's role in the society is a history of changing fortunes. At one time she was highly respected, at other time she became a toy and a chattel in the hands of men. But women of today are demanding equal rights and have become equal to men in the eyes of law. Still some prejudice against Women equality persists but there is some hope that such assumptions will vanish sooner or later.
Those men who accord women a lower status in the society seem to favor authoritarian methods of handling political and organizational problems. They set a high value on women chastity but not on their own. The women have been reduced to no better than animals as the society and men want women to kill the conventional conscience and the woman within her. It will take hundreds of pages to mention the role of women in our society. The inspirational stories and role which women play on daily basis is as vast as an ocean. They are more than what the so called modernization is portraying them. The mother's role is something so tremendously and blissfully blessed thing that the gray matter of intolerant people would not be able to comprehend. Some men still hold a perception that they can overcome and suppress the women with their masculinity. But the responsibility of getting a true and morally better behavior we need to teach society how to treat us. We should not be ashamed of the fact we have been blessed with. We should live our lives in the best form of them. We should be able to be us. We should not be afraid of the character God has given us. We should cherish our scars and set free our hearts. We should live our lives as happily as possible. But these are just “talks” and seem nobody is walking them.
At last I come to conclusion that "barking dog seldom bite" and "Pride hath a fall". There is real problem that we have got to face in any true assessment of what the desirable position of women should be in an ideal society and problem simply is, should we believe that women are potentially as competent as men in Every Walk of life so that their failure to achieve some esteem and success is either to individual competence or to masculine obstructions? We aren't able to find answers in spite of the huge treasure of Islamic and scientific knowledge and still bifurcation of society on the basis of gender lies because "custom dies hard".
